NATO Secretary-General ‌Mark ​Rutte said on Wednesday the ‌issue of whether Greenland will remain with Denmark did not ​come up in his talks with Donald Trump, as the U.S. president stepped back ‍from threats of tariffs and ​ruled out the use of military force to take control of Greenland.

He told world leaders at Davos: "We probably won't get anything unless I decide to use excessive strength and force, where we would be frankly unstoppable. But I won't do that"

“It’s a deal that everybody’s very happy with," Trump told reporters after emerging from a meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
